So apparently, since I have no idea what the heck I'm doing I had my settings so that no one could comment....lame. I just thought my life was that boring. Hahaha. Anyway, it's fixed now!! In case anyone wanted to know...

So I ran into a good friend a couple nights ago....one that I haven't seen in a very long time and she told me that she actually looks at this thing so I decided that I maybe should write something since it's been close to forever. *shout out! - You made me so happy that you actually read my blog* hehe

Let's see, what to report:
News since the last post a hundred and ten yrs ago...

1. Edgar got promoted!! YAY!! After working in retail for like....most of his stinking life he finally got his own store. Granted, it's a Vitamin World and he's not crazy about the supplement industry, but it is something he's been waiting for a long time. i am so proud of him...:)

2. We made it through Footloose! hahaha. It did nearly kill us but after much sleep and good drugs we were back to good as new.

3. Two theaters are doing Rent before the end of the year so it's goodbye to my husband for the next six months. To occupy my evenings and weekends here's the lineup for me (hopefully).

(I know I know....I caved on the last one. What a good show for the resume though!)

4. It has officially been 7 months since the last time I went to Disneyland....for those of you who know me well....that is WAY.TOO.LONG.

Not to worry...there may be a fix on the horizon...hopefully we can work out the details.

5. One of my co-workers has a timeshare and had logged a week last July for later use. It expires this coming July and there's no way she's going to be able to use so.....you guessed it....she gave it to me! YEAH!!! Since we can't afford to go anywhere exciting or miss that much work this is where we'll be living in Scottsdale for 7 days at the end of this month. :)

I am beyond excitement let me tell you....We're staying in a 1 bedroom Villa with a full and completely stocked kitchen for 7 nights!! The resort is absolutely gorgeous and here's the best part~ These rooms usually go for up to 400 dollars a night....I got the whole week for 170!!! I can't get over it! I'm very excited to say the least. :)

Just because...

So as of late Edgar and I have decided that it was time to do another show....little did we know that our bodies and minds had detiorated during our first year of marriage so that now I think that this will not only be the last show we ever do but that it might just be the last THING that we ever do. (To any who are reading this...if I die onstage I would please like to be buried at Disneyland with my twilight books and a can of Dr Pepper. Everything else I own can go to charity. Hahaha.)

Anyway, we have been cast in Footloose working with Mesa Encore Theatre. Edgar will be playing Ren again...go figure...and I will be playing Ariel. It has been quite an experience. We have had to go back to the days when we first met to make sure we appear like we don't know each other. It's harder than you think, but it has been fun. I think in some ways it has brought us closer. We all of a sudden have so much to talk about :) . I like it.

So the funnest thing (funnest?) about us doing this show together is that this was the show we first met in. Two years ago at Hale Centre Theatre we laid eyes on each other for the first time. This fact alone has created a hey-day for the press! They had me write up a short version of our love story. It turned out very good if I say so myself. Once the press release was made it was only thirty minutes before we got our first article. East Valley Living LOVED the story! They even published a picture! (Not crazy about the pic but still...) Shortly thereafter we got a page in the Mesa Independent and finally last sunday in the AZ Republic! EVliving's article was my favorite by far:

They make it all sound so exciting!! Anyway, hopefully it will help the ticket sales. Sappy patrons always love to hear that the love interests on stage are love interests in real life....I don't know whatever.

Well...hopefully we can survive the rest of Tech Week. We open tomorrow and it has been a LONG week. Nine Shows then we're done! At least it's a short run. Alas, bottom line is that I still need to lose ten pounds and we are getting old. Hahaha. Oh well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Wow what a weekend. I love Christmas time so much because there's just such a fun spirit around everyone. People are happier and more generous and more giving. Edgar and I got to spend Christmas with my family this year. Super fun. We stayed over for the weekend and had the BEST CHRISTMAS!!! It was our first Christmas as a married couple....awe....so yeah it was fun. Edgar got a stereo for his car and I got a digital reader and my first Christus! Its BEAUTIFUL. Anyway we had a very relaxing 4 day weekend with my parent's house to ourselves. (They went out of town for the weekend). We threw a GREAT party and saw tons of old friends and got to reminisce and dance and play. Crazy night...those of you who were there know what I mean....hahaha! Anyway, hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Ok so Wednesday is definitely the most boring day of the week. Its the farthest thing from the weekends - lame... but oh well what can you do. Ed and I are so excited for christmas! We are going to probably try and keep it small this year because we're trying to save some money. Oh yeah and we're moving! So exciting! Just into another unit in our same complex but a bigger one and it is SO CUTE! I can't wait. We live in my aunt's unit now and let me tell you its hard renting from family. Very inconsistent. But we're excited. We're going to sign a year lease so we'll know where we'll be for the next little while and can settle in and try and figure out where our lives are going. Haha! Crazy. Anyway, I should be working so I'm out. Peace!

Ok so I have no idea how to do this blogging thing but I wanna learn!! It looks like fun. Anyway, Hopefully I can get on here and figure out how to make it cute and put pics and stuff on of me and my hunny! Haha we'll see how that goes.... Cheers!
